3rd International Scientific Conference “Challenges of Globalization in Economics and Business”
The 3rd International Scientific Conference “Challenges of Globalization in Economics and Business” will be opened at Ivane Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University (TSU)
on October 26, at 10am. The conference will be organized by the TSU Faculty of Economics and Business and it will be dedicated to the 100th anniversary of TSU.
Georgian and foreign scientists from various universities will participate in the conference. About 120 works and scientific papers will be presented from nine countries of the world.
Rector of TSU, George Sharvashidze, Dean of the TSU Faculty of Economics and Business, Professor Giorgi Gaganidze, Professor Elguja Mekvabishvili, as well as invited guests will attend the conference opening.
The following papers will be presented at the plenary session: “Georgia’s economic model: “consumer paradox” and “tourist trap” (Vladimer Papava, Academician, TSU Professor); “Economic situation in France and EU” (Véronique Flambard, Professor, Universite Catholique de Lille); “Management of intellectual property in the context of global technological changes” (Tatiana Soboleva, Associate Professor, Kyiv National Economic University named after Vadym Hetman); “Social and economic challenges of sustainable tourism development in Georgia” (TSU Professor Ioseb Khelashvili).
Following the plenary session, the work will continue in sections at 2pm, at the 10th (Maglivi) Building of TSU (University Str. 2). 14 sections will work according to scientific topics of the conference.
