Student Competition ‘Mission 2015’ Award Ceremony
An award ceremony of student competition of Ivane Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University (TSU) “Mission 2015” was held at TBC Gallery on February 5.
The jury revealed three winning teams: a team The Wailers became the winner of this year’s competition and prize money at GEL 2500 was awarded to it; Team ABC (GEL 1500) and Nice (GEL 1000) took the second and third places, respectively. The prize money at GEL 5000 was allocated by the partner company.
Certificates and memorial gifts were handed over to all finalists.
“The project Mission has already become traditional and it is very interesting for the university. This year, the students had a task to offer a marketing project to Saba online bookstore. The teams fulfilled their task successfully and presented the best projects. But each competition has a winner; so, the best projects were revealed,” Rector Papava said.
Tamar Kirvalidze, Director of Foreign Relations and Media Communications Department of TBC Bank, said that “cooperation with TSU students has proved successful and interesting. Students were involved in the project actively and they presented quite interesting ideas; these ideas were so interesting that we even found difficult to reveal the winner. We think that this project will make an important contribution to the process of students’ relations with books and will also help us very much.”
“Since we put a lot of effort into this project, I should acknowledge that I expected the victory. I think that our project was tailored to the task better than others and envisaged constant relations with consumers. Just this brought a victory to our team,” Pikria Pirtskhalaishvili of The Wailers said.
