The Ivane Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University (TSU) and the National Youth and Children’s Palace signed a Memorandum of Cooperation on December 17. The memorandum was signed by TSU Rector, Academician Vladimer Papava and Director of the National Youth and Children’s Palace, Ketevan Peikrishvili.
TSU Rector Vladimer Papava said: “The National Youth and Children’s Palace has a great history and experience. We, the university and the palace, serve a common goal – educating our youth for the future of our country. We have already held a lot of interesting joint events and we will continue active collaboration in future.”
“It is a great honor for us to sign the memorandum with the Tbilisi State University. We are doing common work. We are educating our children at the palace and they continue their studies at the university. This memorandum will further boost our relations,” Director of the National Youth and Children’s Palace, Ketevan Peikrishvili said.
The primary objective of the memorandum is to provide creative and cognitive environment for school-age children in order to help them make a correct and reasonable decision for continuing their studies at higher educational institutions and choosing a profession. The memorandum also aims to establish professional and creative contacts between the teachers of the palace and university professors; to establish joint vision and partner relations; to further improve and develop curricula; to involve students and student organizations in joint activities; to develop cooperation strategy and plans for various directions of scientific, research and educational activities.
