Information Meeting on Visa-Free Travel to EU
An information meeting on visa-free travel to the European Union was held at Ivane Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University on March 22. The meeting was organized by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Information Center on NATO and EU.
The representatives of the Georgian Foreign Ministry and the Information Center, as well as experts acquainted students with the rules of visa-free travel to the Schengen area. The participants also highlighted the risks related to violating these rules and inappropriate use of asylum procedures.
The information campaign has been organized by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Information Center on NATO and EU, in partnership with local civil society organizations and with the support of the Delegation of the European Union to Georgia and the International Centre for Migration Policy Development (ICMPD).
