Event Dedicated to Georgian Language at TSU
The Ivane Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University hosted a presentation of the results of the student research paper and essay writing competition. The event dedicated to the Georgian language was organized by the Institute of the Georgian Language at the TSU Faculty of Humanities.
“Tbilisi State University always marks the Day of the Georgian Language on April 14. This year the winners of BA and MA student competition were named on this day. Two winners were revealed in essay writing competition and two others – in research paper writing competition,” Dean of the Faculty of Humanities Darejan Tvaltvadze said.
Shorena Tskhadadze, the second year BA student of the English philology direction of the Faculty of Humanities, and Mariam Kublashvili, the third year BA student of the Georgian philology direction, won in the essay writing competition. Sandro Tskhvedadze, the first year BA student of the Georgian philology direction, and Natia Kenchiashvili, the first year MA student of the general and applied linguistics direction, won in the research paper writing competition.
