TSU in Thomson Reuters World University Rankings
The Ivane Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University (TSU) has appeared in Thomson Reuters World University Rankings for the first time. In particular, TSU is among the worlds best universities for physics and is ranked 187th among the world’s 248 universities. http://www.usnews.com/education/best-global-universities/physics?page=19

The results of rankings of the top universities in the world were released in October 2015. These well-regarded universities from around the world have shown strength in producing research in a wide range of topics related to physics – the study of matter and energy. Topics include particle and nuclear physics, mathematical physics, quantum physics and theoretical physics. These are the worlds best universities for physics. Along with TSU, 45 universities failed to appear in the Best Global Universities Rankings (among 750 universities), though appeared in the rankings of the world universities by field of study.
