TSU, Netafim-Georgia Sign Memorandum of Cooperation
The Ivane Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University (TSU) and the Israeli firm, Netafim-Georgia signed a Memorandum of Cooperation on July 9. The memorandum was signed by TSU Rector, Academician Vladimer Papava and Director of Netafim-Georgia, Aharon Gagulashvili.
“Cooperation with a private company Netafim-Georgia opens up new opportunities for our students and scientists. The interest of business sector towards the university is very important; this is a globally approved practice and I am sure that this cooperation will yield positive results,” TSU Rector, Vladimer Papava said.
“Signing of this memorandum with TSU is very important for our company. It means that TSU students will undergo internships and raise their qualification in the projects implemented by us in Georgia. In our opinion, agriculture is a leading branch in Georgia and we welcome signing of this memorandum,” Director of Netafim-Georgia, Aharon Gagulashvili said.
The memorandum aims at deepening business relations between educational and scientific institutions and business organizations in Georgia.
