International Conference on Modern Problems in Applied Mathematics
On September 19-22, Ivane Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University (TSU) will host the 3rd International Conference on Modern Problems in Applied Mathematics.
The Conference is dedicated to the 100th anniversary of Ivane Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University and the 40th anniversary of Ilia Vekua Institute of Applied Mathematics.
The purpose of the conference is to promote the presentation of research ongoing at the world’s leading scientific centers and its results, the establishment and deepening of contacts between scientists, as well as exchanging latest information. Meetings between broad circles of scientists involved in basic and applied research have been launched since the day of the Institute’s foundation. Similar meetings enable scientists to set new goals, discuss them and outline the plans of future cooperation.
Topics of the Conference:
Mathematical problems of mechanics of continua and related problems of analysis
Mathematical modeling and computational mathematics
Discrete mathematics and theory of algorithms
Probability theory and mathematical statistics
Number theory, algebra and geometry
