National Student Blog Post Competition

The National Center for Alternative Dispute Resolution at Ivane Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University announces a national student blog post competition on the issue of mediation within the framework of academic empowerment of mediation project, implemented with the support of the EU-funded UN Joint Programme: Enhancing Access to Justice and Development of a Child-Friendly Justice System in Georgia.

1.The purpose of the blog post competition is to raise student and public awareness about mediation.
2.The competition is organized by the TSU National Center for Alternative Dispute Resolution; it will reveal and publish the best blog posts.
3.Any BA and MA students from Georgian higher educational institutions are eligible to participate in the competition.
4.Blog posts will be assessed under the predetermined criteria.
5.The text of blog posts should be created in Microsoft Word document, Sylfaen, font size -12. The text should not exceed 1000 words and it should be submitted electronically to law.journal@tsu.ge; please, indicate “student blog post competition” in a subject line.
6.Blog posts and filled applications will be accepted electronically through November 30, 2017.
7.Students willing to participate in the competition can use the scientific library specialized in the field of mediation available at the National Center for Alternative Dispute Resolution (TSU, 1st Building (Chavchavadze Avenue No. 1, 0179) room 04, telephone: +995 557 91 00 19)) as well as online resources available on the Center’s website (www.ncadr.tsu.ge).
8.The participants will be notified about the results via e-mail.
9.Five winners will be revealed (I, II, III, IV and V places), whose blog posts will be posted on the official website and Facebook page of the National Center for Alternative Dispute Resolution. Certificates will be awarded to the winners.
