TSU Expresses Regret over Death of Alexander Rondeli
The Ivane Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University (TSU) expresses regret over the death of Professor Alexander Rondeli.
A civil funeral ceremony will be held at Building I of the Tbilisi State University from 12 o’clock noon on June 16; carrying out – at 3pm on June 16.
Dr. Alexander Rondeli held a Ph.D. in Geography from Tbilisi State University. He was the President of the Georgian Foundation for Strategic and International Studies. From 1997 to 2001 he served as a Director of the Foreign Policy Research and Analysis Center at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Georgia. Prior to that, in 1991-1996, Dr. Rondeli was a Chair of an International Relations Department at the Tbilisi State University. Dr. Rondeli was a Research Fellow at London School of Economics and Political Science (1976-77), a Mid-career Fellow at the Woodrow Wilson School, Princeton University (1993-94), a Visiting Professor at Emory University (1991), Mount Holyoke College (1995) and Williams College (1992, 1995 and 1997).
