TSU Wins Most Grants Approved by Shota Rustaveli National Science Foundation

The Shota Rustaveli National Science Foundation has unveiled the results of the State Science Grants competitions. According to the results of the competitions, the Ivane Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University has won most of the grants.

A total of 86 projects were financed within the State Science Grants for Fundamental Research, including 33 projects (37%) of the Tbilisi State University; 12 projects of the Georgian Technical University; 8 projects of Ilia State University; 6 projects of the Agrarian University.

A total of 23 projects were financed within the State Science Grants for Applied Research, including 9 projects of the Tbilisi State University (33%), 6 projects of the Agrarian University; 6 projects of the Georgian Technical University.

A total of 12 projects were financed as a result of state grants competition with the participation of Georgian compatriots abroad, including 7 projects of the Tbilisi State University.
