Rehabilitation Works to Begin at TSU Building No. 2

Rehabilitation works will begin at Building No. 2 of Ivane Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University (TSU) in the near future. Minister of Education and Science of Georgia, Deputy Prime Minister Aleksandre Jejelava said that a design competition has already been announced.

Rector of TSU, Giorgi Sharvashidze said that complete rehabilitation of TSU Building No. 2 will begin this fall, with the support of the Government of Georgia and the Ministry of Education and Science of Georgia. “The problems persisting in Building No. 2 will be settled. Auditoriums, heating system, research centers and other learning spaces will be rehabilitated under European standards,” Sharvashidze noted.
