Ivane Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University hosted an opening of an academic conference held within the framework of the 2nd International Scientific School Conference “Applied Biosciences and Biotechnology 2019.”
Georgian and foreign scientists working at the leading institutions and research centers of Georgia and the world, as well as representatives of Georgian research institutes and students from various Georgian universities participated in the conference.
Georgian and foreign scientists shared their experience to the audience and spoke about practical aspects and perspectives of modern biotechnology. A student session was also held as part of the conference, where young scientists presented their papers. The conference will last till April 5. It has been organized by TSU and Caucasus International University with the support of Shota Rustaveli National Science Foundation.
Among the partner organizations are: Laboratory of the Ministry of Agriculture of Georgia, National Center for Disease Control and Public Health and Georgian Biotechnology Association.
