An exhibition of scholarly works published by the Shota Rustaveli Institute of Georgian Literature over the past years was held on April 14.
“We decided to hold this exhibition on April 14 [Georgian Language Day]. This is a solemn day for us because we have an opportunity to exhibit all those books, which were prepared with the help of our scientists and which were published under the aegis of the Shota Rustaveli Institute of Georgian Literature. The exhibition contains the books of various genres, academic publications, scholarly collections, collections published in frames of grant projects, textbooks for the universities, special thematic collections, works prepared by the Institute’s staff, as well as some important foreign publications issued by the Institute of Georgian Literature during this period. I think that we have yielded good results during these years and it is confirmed by the fact that the Institute is working with high motivation and energy,” Director of the Shota Rustaveli Institute of Georgian Literature, Irma Ratiani said.
A presentation of book 3 “Athos Theological and Literary School” in a guidebook series issued by the Institute of Georgian Literature was held on the sideline of the exhibition.
