In an initiative of the Portuguese Language Center at TSU, next week
there will be two MASTERCLASSES at the Tbilisi State Conservatory,
presented by Daniela Tomaz and Didier François [Ensemble Med]
They were conceived for the Conservatory Students, but are open to anyone interested in the topics.
I.
5th may 3pm | Masterclass "Raízes da Polifonia de Língua Portuguesa [Roots of Portuguese Polyphony]"
This Masterclass approaches and wishes to unveil the connection between the written and oral polyphony of Portugal and Georgia.
II.
6th may 6pm | Masterclass “Improvisation on the Simbiosis between Early and World Music”
This
Masterclass/Meeting with Students of the Ethno Jazz Department will be
based on Improvisation over some of the Iberian Medieval Music written
sources worked by Ensemble MED.
