Doctor of Geography, Associate Professor, Department of Geography, TSU Faculty of Exact and Natural Sciences.  She is a Member of the Geographical Society of Georgia and on the Editorial Board of Caucasus Geographical Journal and Geography of Georgia,  and the Georgian National Atlas (2012). She is coordinator of Junior Geographical School at TSU and member of the council granting degrees in geography.  Dr. Nikolaishvili has authored more than 100 publications and has participated in 20 international and local projects projects (UNEP, WWF,WB, CEU, GTU, GTZ, GEF/UNDP, etc.). Research fields include spatial-temporal analysis of landscapes, limnology and GIS technologies, and lectures on Geographical research methods, GIS and ES, Natural resources of the Caucasus, Sustainable ecological development and Georgian landscape cadastre.
