DMSC, Assistant Professor of Clinical Anatomy and Operative Surgery Department,  TSU Faculty of Medicine, he is Head of the Department of Scientific-Educational-Training Center of Experimental Surgery, TSU Institute of Morphology. He is the author of one monograph, two inventions, more than 70 scientific articles and a textbook and participant of International Multicenter Study conducted by the Quanta Medical Group, France and participates or leads several Georgian and international grants (GNSF, ISTC, STCU). He has 15-years experience in experimental and clinical cardiac surgery and his spheres of his research include artificial heart, lung and cardiopulmonary systems, artificial life support systems.
