Doctor of life sciences with the focus on palynology and Scholar at the Paly-Biology Institute of Georgian National Museum. Research interests: palynology, studies of geological sediments and archaeological materials through palynology method. Maya Chichinadze is the author of more than 15 scientific articles; 2007-2015 participated in international forums: 2011-2013 – SCOPES project, “Colchis 2 Vani, Nokalakevi in the first Millenium B.C and earlier cultural and environmental context”; 2012-Shota Rustaveli National Science Foundation grant project “Treasures from Vani Nakalakari”.
